Lazylightning420 is a mandolin-guitar duo performing complete, specific Grateful Dead shows. Consisting of Erik Berry (Trampled by Turtles) on mandolin and Marc Gartman (Two Many Banjos, Glitteratti) on vocals and guitar, they play a complete setlist originally performed by the Grateful Dead. Unlike other tribute acts which attempt to sound exactly like the Dead, Lazylightning420 has to rearrange all the material to fit the duo format. However, they do utilize a variety of electronic effects so some of the “Jerry tones” are present in their performances. They have performed shows from the 60s, 70s, 80s and even the 1990s.
