Since 2016, Fargo’s very own Triple Deke has been playing their blend of melodic punk, mixing elements of skate punk and hardcore to polish their special brand of jams. Unique/technical guitar riffs, powerful melodic vocals, and punishingly fast drums is what makes them stand out. Subtle hints of their love for hockey helps too. November of 2016 saw the release of their 2 song demo, “Two Minutes For Holding.” Three years of playing local shows, midwest weekend outings, and writing in between full time jobs and families brought them to their first full length album, “Five Minute Major.” Released on March 7th, 2019, the record gained a buzz among the hardcore/punk community worldwide, while 2020-present brought a lot of changes. Lineup issues and COVID caused a little exhaustion to their roster, but in 2022 they are coming back full strength with new music, a new lineup, and their first show since December of 2019.
