Laughing Sun Brewing and Jade Presents are excited to bring you the tastiest takeout event experience: Bacon & Beer in a Box. Laughing Sun is creating bacon-inspired dishes, designed for two, and is pairing them with some of their most unique beers. This takeout event also features live premiere concerts from Matty J & Friends and SonnieWaters.

Pick up your box at Laughing Sun Brewery on Saturday, April 10, 2021, from noon to 6 p.m. Boxes contain food for two, a mixed six-pack, Bernie’s Bacon & Beer Festival pint glasses and easy reheating instructions to be done in the comfort of home.

Pairings:

• Bacon-wrapped burnt ends glazed with sweet BBQ sauce and lightly caramelized paired with Grandma’s Cupboard Bourbon Oak-aged Smoked Vanilla Porter, featuring hints of smoke, bourbon and vanilla to compliment the sweet smokey meat-candy goodness.
• Laughing Sun’s famous mac & cheese featuring bacon and pickled jalapenos paired with Space Probe Green creating contrasting flavors of lime, spruce, and sea salt in this seasonal sour selection.
• A juicy smoked turkey slider featuring bacon, cheddar, and house dijon garlic aioli paired with Laughing Sun’s signature Sinister on Oak, a Belgian-style golden strong ale aged on oak, imparting a smooth mellow flavor to this fruit ester forward 9% ale.
• Candied bacon pretzel bites compliment the MoonCat Cold Coffee Ale, seasonal black ale featuring locally roasted Mighty Missouri Coffee’s Mighty Moonrise beans.
• *This is four pairings but there will be two Sinister on Oaks and two Mooncat Ales in the six-pack.

Artist Bio:

Matty J & Friends is based in Fargo, ND and formed through a desire to play music with as many different musicians as possible! When not performing with his band The Human Element or with his wife in Significant Others, Matty uses this platform to touch on everything from Hip Hop to Bluegrass. It’s a way of having no limitations on the music he wants to perform!

SonnieWaters is a Family Folk-Rock band from Bismarck, ND.
