Artist Bio

While his path initially may have been that of a star athlete, winning gatorade player of the year in 2006 and receiving a Louisville slugger scholarship to play at duke university, where he went on to become a 1st team All-American, mike would find that he had another calling in life that he needed to pursue full-heartedly.

After undergoing surgery and being sidelined with an injury that kept him off the field, he found real therapy in writing rhymes and realized that an old hobby of his could be something more.

Mike recorded and released his first single, “college humor” while still in school and gained instant success racking up over 2 million views on youtube. With people beyond his inner circle telling him to keep pursuing music, he knew he was on to something big and had to keep going.

This would all lead to mike signing a single album distribution deal with 300 entertainment under Atlantic Records for his album closer, which topped the rap charts and became the labels first number one album.

In 2016, Mike caught the attention of NBC’s esquire network who turned his tour vlog, “Tourings Boring” and the lifestyle of his budding career into an 8-part docu-series called, “This Is Mike Stud”, becoming the networks 2nd highest rated TV show. Kids in colleges across America could directly relate to his story and found themselves rooting for the hometown hero and his homies as they chased around the ultimate dream of success.

Millions of fans have been anxiously waiting to see what is up next for the artist, but when it comes to mike, ya neva know.
